Default 07 F-150 misfire/backfire help

My son is now half way through the Marine Corp boot camp. His truck, a 07 F-150 (6cyl-5 speed) has been sitting in my driveway for about 8 weeks. Two weeks after he left I drove it about 6 miles. It ran good. Today (about 5 weeks of sitting) I drove it about 3 miles to a restaurant, it run great. We left and it starting missing, it'll backfire if I really gas it. It had about 1/8 tank of fuel. I got home, checked air filter (OK) and plug wires (OK). It rained while the hood was up. I put half a can of seafoam in the tank and drove it 12 miles , it run perfect for 11 miles and started misfiring again. I turned around and went about 7 miles, fuel at about 1/16. I put 3 gallons of premium fuel in and came on home. Misfired the rest of the way home. Any thoughts?

No codes thrown.

I took the truck this morning for breakfast. About a 12 mile round trip. It ran perfect my way there, I ate and about halfway home it started misfiring again. Pretty sure it is not bad fuel now. It runs great when it is cold, seems to run good even at operating temp for 10 minutes or so before it starts misfiring.

Check the condition of your FPDM...does the CEL flash while the mis-fire is happening ??

It has no CEL light at all. It turned out to be the coil. I replaced it and everything is ok. Thanks for the response.
