06 f150 5.4l rough idle
So I need any help I can get lol.
Last night I changed all the plugs and coil packs on my truck, I was having a misfire. Today, I noticed the truck idles a little rough, not anything real bad but noticeable. I went from master craft plugs to the one piece champion plugs. Only thing I unhooked where the computer on the passenger side firewall, and all the clips on the fuel rail and the coils. I didn't break any of the old plugs when removing them. Thanks in advance for any help

There have been many reports of the champion plugs causing misfires and rough idle in these engines, so that's one possibility.
Did you use antiseize on the new plugs? Using too much of it and getting some on or near the grounding strap can cause some issues.
Did you go through the PCM relearn procedure after reconnecting the pcm and battery?
Did you get Motorcraft COP's, or aftermarket?

I would put Motorcraft plugs into there. However, some people have no issues with champion, so it's your call.
Here's the procedure to allow your PCM to learn what it needs to know:

You don't really HAVE TO do this. The PCM will learn and adjust overtime. The procedure just allows it to learn quickly.

For future reference, always disconnect the battery before disconnecting tell PCM.
By disconnecting the PCM, the power source(battery) was disconnected from it. This resets its parameters just like taking the battery out.
