02 4.6 PCV valve replacement?

I cant for the life of me figure out how to get the old pcv valve out. It looks like the original and it is only the valve and the hose pressed onto it. How in the heck do I get the valve to come out of the cover? The one i got from the store just pushes in so why isnt this one just pulling out? I understand some are screwed in so is this the case? and either way i tried turning it out and it wont move. Someone help me out.
