Widest Tire on 17x9 rim

So I have a 2000 stock height 2000 f150 reg cab short bed xlt. I have 17x9 -12 offset and I'm looking to buy new all terrain tires. what is the widest tire I can go? cheapest all terrain?? need some help guys!!

12.5 inches (or 315 mm) is about the practical limit for a 9 inch wheel.
