The original purpose of the clay bar was to remove overspray. I don't know how well that would work on plastic. If it works I'd be careful about scratching the plastic. Once the overspray is off you can always polish the plastic.

I heard that nail polish remover would work on that kind of stuff, not quite sure though. I would try it in a corner or a hard to see spot first and see if it damages it at all.

Why are you painting the inside your truck is my first question and I wouldn't trust nail polish I've had some plastic cloud up and Crack when you put harsh chemicals on them I'd try the clay bar and then polish it

Go to the store and get you some white cotton towels and a small can of mineral spirits. It will come of using the spirits in a generous manner. You may also use Goof off. You can use Goop hand cleaner as long as it has not the gritty in it.

Tire shine spray removes spray paint off of exterior paint maybe it will work on plastic too.

I did the same on a 240Z I was restoring. Bought some buffing compound for plastic, not only removed the paint, made the plastic all nice and clear!

I would probably use the gray claybar from Car Brite, and then use something like this Fast Wax to polish the plastic back to normal sheen:
http://www.carbrite.com/products/Ext...ants/Fast-Wax/

Tips:
Don't use mineral spirits, it will burn the plastic
Don't use nail polish remover, it will burn the plastic.
WD40 MIGHT work
Start with the most gentle method first. Soap & water with a nylon brush - like a stiff toothbrush.
