Default Pastidipped running boards

I have a pair of tan plastic running boards laying around and want to put them on my truck but it won't match so I thought it might be a good idea to just plastidip them. So do you guys think the plastidip will hold up? I don't care about the bottom, just the top side I'm steeping on that will be visible.

Definitely will not hold up.

You might try Rustoleum's Truck Bed Paint (rattle can). Looks good and holds up very well. Much finer grain than real truck bed coating.

I did exactly that, has held up well for almost a year now. spray it on correctly, use a LOT of thick coats near the end and it will last. The stuff is made to be tool handles.
