Default My toolbox mounted fishing rod rack

Just so ibd doesn't feel lonely in here, I'll add pics of my rod holder...FISHING rod holder...perverts.

Aluminum angle, stainless bolts, and pvc tubes. About 3 hours work and $17.00. Since these pics, I've cut a groove in each tube for the spinning reel legs to slide into so the rods sit deeper into the rack.

Nice mod. I'm always worried about snapping part of my fishing rods. Think I might have to try this one out.

LOVE the simplicity of that Ringleader well done. All these little custom things are what makes me really enjoy fabricating things. Nothing like making your own custom designs to fit your needs. A+

I know Tunaslayer did something similar to his truck, but really love the simplicity and design of yours.

Appreciate it. I was looking at one online that was $300 and bolted to the bedsides, but this is all I really need. I never carry more than six poles, and if the need arises, I can add more tubes. No more cringing when I get out and see my tackle box has slid over a rod tip, lol.

A man with his priorities right. Safe and secure transport of fishing tackle is always an important consideration.
