Unfortunately no, there is a complete circuit board in the face of the radio that controls the AC and unless somebody completely redesigns the circuit board, you can not remove it as it extends through the whole front piece where the radio would sit. If it is ever developed, it'll be probably a $400-$500 dash kit. You'd also need a digital module to plug into the factory harness to create an accessory wire and retain all the CAN BUS functionality and steering wheel controls which would run anywhere from $125-200.

Does anyone on here still make custom dash panels? I need one for my 2011 f150 Lariat to fit an iPad mini.

FYI I got an Ipad Mini 3 and put it in my 2007 F150 XLT myself. I even kept the factory radio in the truck, put the Ipad in its place, and am able to take the Ipad out with only a little hassle. Also, since my factory radio is still in the truck, and since I only made minor modifications, I can put the stock radio back in just like normal if I sell the truck.

Let me know if you want me to share how I did this (don't want to spell it out if no one is interested!). It didn't take too long and it was less than $40 or so (not counting the Ipad).
