Default Help wiring backup alarm

Hey guys, I am in the process of getting my truck (2016) ready for the oilfield with safety gear and a slip tank. I purchased a back up alarm that is supposed to be wired in through the trailer wiring harness but I have no idea where to begin. I am not the greatest at wiring and really don't want to mess up the factory harness. Has anyone wired one of these in before? Any tips or suggestions? I have searched online but only became more confused...

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Buy a 7 wire trailer plug that will fit into your truck's trailer receptacle. Connect the alarm to the ground and backup light terminals.

Don't they make reverse light bulbs with built in back up alarms.

I put mine on a switch in the cab. I tapped into the trailer reverse light wire for the power and then ran the ground all the way up to the switch in the cab and grounded that. I wanted the ability to turn it off when I'm not in a quarry or on a job site.
