I've done quite a bit of hydro-dipping and can tell you that its is VERY durable. I hydrodipped a pair of Oakley sunglasses and wanted to redip them in a different pattern. I basically had to boil them for about 30 minutes just to get the hydrodip and clearcoat to start coming off. Here are the Oakleys I dipped.
