Dash box build for CB on Platinum
I am trying to build a box to hold a CB on my 2010 F-150 Platinum, this will replace the dash tray and speaker. I have thought about remounting the speaker and tray on top of the box depending on the amount of room that is required. I want to upholster it with the same material that lines the dash so it doesn't look tacky. Does anyone know where I could find the material specs/name?

Maybe mount it in the center console instead. It would save you a ton of work and would be significantly cheaper. Further, if it doesn't flow with the dash, you're kinda stuck with the eye sore.
