I've got a 5L so no intercooler to worry about. Stuck some superbright lights in there beside the license plate and wired them to a toggle switch below my light switch.

here is what i did with my open spot. Removed the license plate and bought the ecoboost plate holder.




6k HIDs in Headlights, Rigid E Series 20'' combo, and Rigid DOT fog lights<br/>

I bought a billet grill off eBay to fill in the hole. Then mounted Hella HID driving lights behind it. I really didn't like the look of the billet grill because they were so played out 15years ago so I removed the Hellas and the billet grill and installed a 20" LED light bar.

At first I had a tag bracket there, then put a hidden winch mount and 12000lb winch on.

Default 14" LED bar on custom made bracket.
