Has anyone swapped out their jump seat from the 2010-2014 for a jump seat from 2015/16 with the cup holders and storage compartment? I dont know if the seat mounts line up but maybe just the top portion of the newer seat will mount to the older seat bottom?

I just hate not having any use for that entire arm rest space.

I swapped my jump seat for a console in my 13' XLT. I found a floor console without the center shift on ebay and the mounting bracket from the seat does not match up the the holes on the console. The bracket is the same width as the seat but the mounting holes for the 4 bolts are not the same distance length wise as the console. I rigged mine up using the 2 front bolts and then making a bracket to extend the length of the bracket to math the consoles and it worked perfectly and its solid.

awesome. i ended up buying one from a salvaged f150 of the same year that fit. glad to know i can rig it up to work if i ever need to
