I have a 2011 XLT 3.5L Ecoboost. The truck has a Sync system with Oem CD radio that has the Radio LCD display. Has anyone done a conversion to the radio dash that removes the Radio LCD? I'm thinking of upgrading to a double din radio with Nav, but hate the LCD. It's a unless feature. I'd like a simple clean look and liked to swap to a 2012 or 2013 dash that doesn't have the Radio LCD. Looks like it could possibly be done but not sure. Any ideas forum?

My dash looks like the one on the left. Id like to remove the Radio LCD and move to dash like on the right. Can it be done? Anyone?
