That trucks with a push button start don't have a traditional ACC mode, for when I want to listen to the radio for a period of time without having the truck in full ON mode. Makes no sense to me.

I don't get this part, but maybe because I've never had a vehicle with one. So I just pop the hood and check now and then, and top off the reservoir.

However, I've also heard RainX messes with the sensors so that kind of makes me glad we don't have the sensor. I'm not one to be particular about washer fluid so having to keep track of what I use to keep a dash light from coming on would irritate me.

My buttons still work when the backup camera is on the screen, both the dash ones and the steering wheel controls. I think something's wrong with yours which might explain your other problems too. Can't speak about the SD card thing, my Nav card is there and I stream over BT all the time, which never drops on me... Get it into service.
Interesting. I may have to play with it some more. I know I installed an update last month. Didn't help the SD card, so I'm thinking of trying a USB stick to see if it helps. (Card wasn't detected yesterday so maybe the contacts suck, and the truck indexes because it comes loose frequently.)

Oops sorry guys! Never meant to say I can pause cruise control!
What I meant was they took away the option to pause the trip meter. So if you're calculating the time, distance mpg etc but end up having to take a detour or something mid trip it's nice to pause it and resume when you're back on course to keep an accurate reading

Sync 2 technology disaster & screen on 2015!!!

I had low expectations - they were not met.

It's got to the point where I have unpaired my iPhone and just use Siri by pressing the button on the phone.

They have full acc without engine running, what's the big deal?

When opening the rear door the rainwater can run along the inside of the weatherstripping on top of the door and pour onto the floorboard. Wtf.

Maybe it's Apple issues? With mine, I activate Cortana by just holding the talk button on the steering wheel... Also no issues reading and replying to texts etc...

We've been over this time and time again on here. The push button trucks don't have ACC mode like the keyed trucks do. They just have ON, which turns on all circuits, which is way more of a power draw. The big deal is sometimes when I'm sitting waiting for someone or cleaning the truck or whatever, I just want to listen to the radio without turning the truck on.

Man it's way beyond that...

• screen is so so slow to respond to button pushes

• often multiple presses required

• screen layout is terrible

• buttons too small

• does not sleep after 30 secs of inactivity

• no swipe or gestures

• voice recognition...

• intermittent behavior with bluetooth connectivity

• lack of ability to make ANY kind of interface customization

• so many button pushes required to navigate

It's like Sync 2 was frozen in time and 10 years of technological advances have been ignored.

I've given up on it.
