Guys I'm looking at ordering the kit but I'm curious to how much better the light out put is vs led vs standerd xlt lights any input would be aprciated

I recently upgraded to a 2015 F150 with the LED headlights and can tell a HUGE difference over the stock halogen lights which my father has on his 2015 F150. Well worth the upgrade in my opinion. Just slightly dimmer than a high quality HID headlight but not by much and love the fact that they are instant on.

LEDs are great, I't was a deciding factor in the truck I bought, once I found out the xlt fully loaded didn't have the led headlights as an option, I went for a lariat instead.

Considering I just upgraded to leds tonight....they are about twice as bright.

OP I have a larait 501a (same halogens as the XLT) I will admit the LED conversion is very expensive but the difference is awesome! I would do it again in a heartbeat. They look sexy and do an excellent job of lighting up the road. Do it and you won't be sorry!

No but it's all the same stuff. I bought the fogs off ebay...Morimoto. I bought the lights off ebay and had Retroshop paint them. He did fantastic and I highly recommend him.
