i googled rearview mirror removal . youtube videos! need a skinny bent screwdriver. slide tip in bottom slot and apply pressure towards the windshield/mount . pop off factory mirror. remove wiring harness. slide on gentex. cut and splice gentex wires to factory wires. program homelink buttons. done!

Looks great! Do the homelink buttons light up green? Did you retain the side mirror dim?

buttons on mine are under the mirror and light up green and when pushed a small house icon illuminates on the mirror above the button. I dont think my 301A package came with side mirror dimming , not that I would notice it anyways as I have 10% ceramic UV tint on my windows. i used some double sided female wire crimps to splice the wires and they tucked neatly into the factory sheeth that comes out of the headliner.

Thanks again for the reply. 301As have manual-folding, power glass sideview mirrors with heat, turn signal, auto-dimming feature (driver’s side) and black skull caps (from the site).
10% is pretty dark, no problems with the 5-0? Here in TX they'll pull you over in a second.

Hawaii Five O ! they all have illegal tint too, but always smart to roll down when they look like they are on the hunt to make their monthly quota. I reviewed my sticker and it doesnt mention dimming side mirror, but maybe all 301A features are not on the sticker? I might have had it, but didnt even know. Never had that feature on my 2006 F150, but it had 5% limo tint.
