If you are referring to ventshades, yes, I have the in channel type on my Scab. They work very well and look great.

I bought the AVS and they were not good. Couldn't close the window and when it finally did close it cracked the visor. The rears were hit or miss.

From what I hear, EGR isn't much better. I ended up taking photos of mine and a video of how it sounded/looked when it closed and sent it to autoanything.com where I purchased them. They sent it on to AVS who approved a field termination. Refunded my money and I didn't have to send them back. That channel is really tight with them in there.

A few guys have modified them to make it a little bit thinner in certain areas. I had the AVS on my Tacoma and I had zero issues with them. Maybe they will redesign them.

They work fine with the auto up windows? I just don't want it to sound like something is about to break every time I close a window. I drive with my windows down a lot so that means they are constantly up and down.

I have the AVS. They were tight at first, and I had to help the Windows close at first without bouncing back. I left them closed a couple of days and now they close without assistance.
I found the factory edges very sharp, Dangerously sharp. I actually cut myself while unpacking them. I smoothed all the edges with a sanding block before installation. I fear serious bodily harm would occur, especially when washing the windows, if I had not done this.

Default Vent shades

Thanks, all
I had the weather tech on my last truck in the channel, but for some reason when I checked their web site they did not have a listing for my crew cab, I'll check again.
