I stumbled upon this thread after having my door having the same rattling sound after hitting bumps and searching for solutions. Has anyone come up with a solid answer to this yet? My door rattles driving down the highway hitting normal bumps in roads, I hear it whether im going 35mph or 80mph. It almost seems like it rattles in the latch itself, but may be the door sill like many have stated. The dealership seems to not care at all, and cant reproduce the sound, yet I cant not hear it. Any suggestions? thanks!

If it were me, I would look at the process of removing the door panel myself to isolate and fix the rattle. This is supposing something is loose or two surfaces are touching that should not be and there is nothing broken. If something is broken or built wrong, you should be able to identify that clearly for your dealer.

I appreciate the suggestion, unfortunately, I have gone this route already, even added dynamat and accoustic foam to all 4 doors. I will clarify, its not a rattle in the door or panel, more like the whole door is physically moving inside the door jam. Its the same sound you get if the door is not shut all the way tight. If I slam the door with the window down a little, it seems to be better. I maybe need to look into latch adjustments.

Gotcha, understand. I would certainly find some way to reproduce this issue for the dealer. Don't let them look at it alone. You ride with them.

Any updates from anyone yet? Same problem as some of you describe. Not a rattle, but feels like the entire driver's door is moving independant of the body, only over bumps. First maintanence is coming up at the end of the month.

I have a whistle in the drivers side as well. It is ok until about 60 mph, then it gets pretty annoying. It is constant on the highway. I am curious how to remedy this. This truck is only 3 weeks old.

I brought my truck in for its first service. I went to a fairly local dealer that had a body shop and was certified for aluminum repair off of Ford's website. They ended up adjusted the door so it shuts tight and is now entirely flush with the rear door. So far so good. I have not had the noise since.

My drivers side door was so lose I could get my fingers in the door jam along the roof up to my knuckles on the drivers side. Passenger side had no issues.

Showed dealer, dealer adjusted the door. Problem solved.
