I just grab a small step ladder, even to check the oil. I am over trying to look cool.

And I am 5'11...

Get one of these maybe? My wife bought me this as a Christmas present years ago. Man did it come in handle when I had my big truck. It was cheap to, like $30. Just searched and cheapest one I could find like this was $70, they do have plastic folding ones that are cheap though.

I am 6,2 and I have trouble getting to certain area's under the hood of my 2011 F-150 FX4. I can only imagine the problems someone who is 5,6 would have getting up in there.

But I guess its just the nature of the beast if you're gonna drive a taller pickup or SUV.

At 7'1" closing the hood is no issue. i just wonder if there will be enough head room, leg room, knee room for me to be able to drive on. Knee and head room are usually the biggest issues. Integrated break controller on the current models is a dream for me. No more box mounted taking away more space.

Haha, was pulling the motor to install a Lightning motor and the hoist wouldn't go high enough with the big tires. Ended up having to put those tires on and then flatten them.

L brackets mounted to inside of Tail gate will fasten/store a 48" step ladder for ease of access !

Reminds me of a kid at school. Had a 03ish powerstroke no or little lift. Was showing off his motor during lunch whent to go close the hood and couldn't reach. We (me and some others) laughed our asses off.
