Default Wierd pulse/surge felt in brake pedal at full stop

So this doesn't happen all the time but it does it daily to me after the same amount of driving on the way to work. I get it everyday once I reach the drive through for a coffe near my work about a 45 minute drive. It does it other times after awhile if driving also but it just seems very consistent during the day when I drive to work.

Come to a full stop and get a light pulse/pop in the brake pedal and a very light kind of popping noise. It feels like a loss or surge in pressure maybe?? Otherwise the brakes function totally fine. Maybe not the brakes at all but just feeling it on the pedal??

Any ideas out there what it could be??

It's done it since I got it, haven't brought it in yet since after my first truck was lemoned I want to just drive this thing.

I believe I've felt that several times as well. I'm only at 1500 miles so I figured I'd give a few more miles. I always thought I was molding the brake pads into a new rotor kinda thing.

Could it be your truck downshifting?

Default Wierd pulse/surge felt in brake pedal at full stop

My f150 pulses when at a stop and I slowly let up on the brakes so it inches forward. The truck kinda pulses like ABS is pumping away. Dealer says nothing is wrong...

I don't think so considering if I'm creeping along in a drivethru it will do it everytime like l let off the brakes don't even touch the gas just coast forward, when I reapply the brakes it does it again..

Sorry to revive an old thread, but my 2016 Platinum does this. Sounds like a spring. Does it in first 1" of pedal travel pressing and letting off the pedal as well.

Drives me crazy but we'll see if I get used to it.

Never found out what mine was but it has gone away completely.. Just noticed one day it wasn't doing it anymore and have paid attention since and can't say it's ever done it again..

Sometimes it's the fuel in the tank slapping forward after braking. Probably happens more when the tank is closer to full.
