So does it bother anyone that new F150 and up coming Super Duty have decided to go backwards revert to old school air vents? I thought when I bought my Ford (2014) "how can nobody have figured this out" the ball vent is pretty genius. Thoughts.

Actually I feel the opposite. I do not like the ball vents... I feel like they looked out of place and the style on the 2015 complements the shape of the dash and follows the lines better of it. That's just my opinion though.

Also disliked the circular vents. So to answer your question - no.

Ball vents were going backwards. My 73 Cutlass has them!

Aesthetically, the round air vents, round fog lights, and the tailgate lip that was designed into the body were the least appealing to me. I am very glad they switched back to square air vents and square fog lights. And the tailgate lip, well atleast it doesn't go across the entire back of the truck anymore. I still don't understand the point of it though. I think a square bed looks best as well.

I did like the infinite positioning possibilities of the ball vents but these new vents do look pretty good!

Ball vents are from the 60's.....talk about going backwards.
