Who wishes they would have looked harder at Ram before getting 2015+ F150?

I would have bought another Ram if the Limited didn't have the goofy nostrils in the grill. My 2014 Ram 2500 4X4 Limited was pretty much trouble free. One warranty repair in 40,000 miles (catalyst / DEF issue). The Uconnect system was great, interior fit and finish was/is as good as my King Ranch. I just wanted a new look as the 2016 Ram is virtually the same on the inside. Resale was great, I gave the dealer a check for $9,000 + my 2014 Ram for the King Ranch in my sig. The Ram is a great truck. I've owned 5 since 1998 (3 gassers and 2 diesels). I've had 3 Fords over that same time and haven't really had any major issues with them either. I've owned about 20 F series over the years.

I've never been brand loyal, until now. I've always purchased whatever vehicle suits my needs and more importantly, my budget.
I am a previous Dodge owner (Sport) as well as a previous F-250 owner. My last truck was a Dodge with the 5.7. It had issues - a lot of issues. So, I traded it for my '16 Screw F150 3.5 EB. I have around 2,800 miles on it and love it. It's everything I need and want out of a truck plus some.
I will NOT go back to Dodge after my trade in value was, as stated above, horendous.

Resale on Rams is bad. Just go look at what used ones are going for vs. similar year, miles, options for Ford and GM trucks. No comparison.

I will buy any of the big 3. With that said when it comes to a truck, i never really liked the front of the Ram and cannot get to liking the **** on the dash to put it in gear. I'm sure they make a good truck so if your diggin it go for it.

I dont know why so many people hate the **** to switch gears. It's a great idea in my opinion. It's not as if it's a standard truck. Using the **** frees up space on the steering column and in the console. Genius idea if you ask me.
Also as for resale, the current gen Ram's hold their value just as good as gm and ford where I am from.

I love the idea of the **** on the dash for gear selection. Free's up space for more storage or cup holders. The floor shift looks cooler in the ford but I feel like its wasted space .

Check the crash testing before you put too much dodge love in here. Someone off set hits you your in a wheel chair for life at best pine box otherwise. If you don't plan for the future don't have life insurance and just know you'll live forever, go ahead. Otherwise you might want to follow a good line from an old movie JAWS. 1,000 I value my skin way more than that chief... I'll find him for 1.... But I'll catch him and kill him for 10!!!! I'll take a few glitches for knowing I'm safe. That's for sure.
