i never bothered checking out GM

Don't get me wrong they are all expensive! Especially for a truck that I'm going to be driving around for work on coal mine property. To be honest the Toyota Tundra is looking pretty good to me...I priced a 14' Crewmax Limited with JBL audio and power moonroof for just shy of $46,000. I know the fuel mileage isn't as good but for $10,000 difference in sticker price I can buy a lot of fuel. I love my Ford's that I've had but it's hard to justify spending much more than what I've been paying for a truck! Congrats though to the guys that have ordered one! I'm sure i'll have truck envy when they arrive and more pictures start popping up on here!

Are you defining "over cost" as $1,000 over invoice or $1,000 over dealer's true cost (i.e. dealer's actual net cost after holdback)?

The true price was 65k, paying $1000 over cost. So $58,500 + $1000 as worse case scenario.

I actually just came back from ordering it. It's done and super happy

[QUOTE="Wiscane;3703739"]Congrats !!! I was told that for 2015 you could not get a Platinum in "ruby red"
Colours dropped are:
Vermillion red
Pale Adobe (not happy with that)
Kodiak Brown Metallic

To answer my own question, I guess your post translates to: The MSRP was $65K, paying $1000 over invoice of $58,500 or $59,500 worse case scenario.

Note: the dealer's true/net cost of the vehicle would be ~ $58,500 (invoice) minus the factory holdback of 3% of MSRP (not including shipping) or ~ $56,745. Thus, the dealer's profit on the transaction would be ~ $2,755 if selling at invoice + $1,000.

Edit: I just noted that you're in Canada. If the holdback % varies in Canada, then my calculations are not correct.

Just confirmed with the dealer that the 3.73 is not available with the 2WD 5.0, so it will be a 3.55 for me.

Where can I see all the available options? I'm going to SEMA in Vegas and hope to crawl around the 2015.
