why trade cars every 11 months? You would save more if you rented

Other than aluminum, appearances, and new tech toys there really is not much so new about it that I'm worried. I have an EB already, love it.. And any other changes ford could make between now and then I have full confidence will be well executed.

The grass is always going to be greener on the other side is how I view waiting around on things. I bought a 2012 and look at 2013... MFT and hid. Oh well, right?

I don't mean to sound cocky or anything here, and I'm not trying to start an argument. But you said other than aluminum, appearances, and new tech there is not much new about it"
What more did you want from it?
We have a revolutionary aluminum body, better steel frame, new and improved engines, great new exterior and interior styling, great new bed design and set up, 360 camera, locking and dropping tailgate, new step, panoramic roof, new mirrors, seemingly better options and packages, blind spot/lane keeping/adaptive cruise, and led heads and tails and more

I don't think right now there's anything else they could have jammed in there

I agree. There's likely going to be a lot more things under the surface that are improved as well. A month ago I didn't think Ford could raise the bar more than they did on the current model. Uhm, yeah. About that.

You just described most of what I summed up..That stuff is all great, yes some is new, but at the end of the day it's not all that new, except it comes from the Ford factory now (which is cool as hell). Its all stuff that has been around cars and trucks in one form or another be it in a ford edge or an Audi. It's stuff we all usually do in the aftermarket when we buy a truck (bed lights, LED, etc). If that stuff worries some folks enough to not consider the truck, they are crazy. We finally have it all packaged in the truck we love, it can't get any better.

Not sure y'all fully caught the context of the post.. I'm already sold, I could care less what everyone else thinks. sorry if I don't sound impressed.. I love it, the more exciting thing will be where do we go from here when it has everything but the kitchen sink already?

Ok then i misunderstood, to me it sounded like you weren't impressed, im sold too.
It's not that I didnt know about the technologies and features, im interested in all brands so i know the stuff mercedes packs into their cars for example and I could ramble on forever, but it is the fact that its available in a truck now. I have no need or interest in any mercedes or audi, now I get all that luxury and features with added capability. Sure there might be better build quality and a feature here and there, but im a truck guy, i like my trucks lol

Exactly, we get it all in the truck we love now. I have a hard time coming up with what they could do next (outside swapping up powertrains) to keep making it better with all they threw at it in 2015... We know they will figure something out though. Ford is number 1 for a reason and I don't think they intend to lose that designation anytime soon.

Yeah that what next thing worries me though. I read an article that says all vehicles will be autonomous by 2030. Which scares the living **** out of my for countless reasons.
I think with a lot being implemented in cars now that's all that's left. My fathers 2014 E will keep his car in the middle of the lane by applying the right or left brakes and he won't even know it. It even does this around slight bends. Then you add on adaptive cruise control that will come to a full stop behind a car at a red then accelerate again when it's green. Then you add on all the assisted braking etc. it's cool for now, but I don't really want assisted driving to grow anymore...
