I absolutely will try to install wheel liners when my truck arrives, and would have ordered them if I could have. The Heavy Duty Payload package wouldn't allow them to be added to the order, for both 2015 and 2016. I don't know what it is about the HD payload package that would prevent wheel liners from fitting. The wheel liners take the impact from thrown rocks on gravel roads directly instead of the metal, whether coated or uncoated. The ride is quieter (rocks hitting plastic instead of aluminum). After washing, a treatment with WD-40 makes the liners look great and mud and snow slides right off...something that undercoating or bedliner material won't allow with their rougher surface.

I installed the Ford ones on mine and they look great and serve their purpose. I was a svc mngr at a local Atlanta ford dealer for most of this year and we began installing them on every truck we got in

I have them they are nice but there is a gap in the back that lets mud go over and get on the back of your mud flaps

Does anybody have any comments on the Husky liners? Good or bad?

T_R,
How are you liking your truck, now that you've had it a while? I'm thinking of ordering one.A 2016 rcsb xlt. Are you comfortable in it? Is it roomy? Have you had itout on long trips (over an hour ride). I'm 5' 11" about 210 lbs. do you think I would be comfortable in it?
Thanks for any info.
My local dealer doesn't stock reg. cab trucks.

It's awesome. It's been perfect, no issues at all.

It's plenty roomy, we ride around with 3 people in it often, not a problem. A larger adult probably wouldn't like the middle seat much, but the middle one is fine for a kid.

I'm 6'2" 200 and I don't even have the seat all the way back. The cab is plenty long and wide, I can stretch out in it. The wheel tilts and telescopes to give you all the room you need.

I just about never take it out of town, so no clue there yet. I've only put 2000 miles on it in 4 months. I am doing a 1000 mile trip over thanksgiving with it.

You probably will be in for a long wait if you order a RC truck. Mine was 4 months and they are late availability again for 16.

just ordered mine on eBay today - $117 with free shipping (Husky) think it closes out the rear. My only gripe is $62K truck and no wheel liner? At least Ram and GM have them on the top of the line stuff.

Installed the Husky liners two weeks ago. Saw a lot of comments about holes not lining up with when installed. Contacted Husky, they claim they had no problems. They must have had a better set than what I got. The hole ahead of the wheel and the hole trailing the wheel, on both sides, were all off by at least 3/4 of an inch. Easy enough to remedy. Simply took an awl, heated it with a torch, and from the sheet metal side, poked the needed holes through each plastic liner. Other than that, fit was good, install took about 15 minutes per side. No need to remove wheels.
