I installed the tailgate shock.......damn is the tailgate heavy with the step in it.

Dealer thru in side steps to finish my deal... they intalled them wrong and mounted them to far back..lol, so ill move them this weekend

Have any of you folks installed a Dee-Zee tailgate assist on your F150s? I'm thinking about grabbing one because I have a 4 yr. old zipping around, and she's the perfect height for getting clocked by a fast-dropping tailgate if I'm not paying attention.

Any positive or negative experiences? I'm including the product website for clarity.
