What a disappointment - Anyone with Lemon experience

'repaired to factory specs'? That might be setting your standards low it would seem based on all the stories I have been reading on this and other forums.

Reading the stories on this post and many others on 2015 F-150 problems leaves me in shock.I don’t want to be one of the first to say the 2015 redesign is a disaster but it’s looking damn close to one.

I feel the same way. I really looked forward to trading my 2012 Ram for 2015 F-150 rather than buying another Ram. No problems with the Ram right now. Might as well keep it for another year or so.

I had it for over 30days.
Ford made many many promises but never did.
They took it back as a lemon.
I was really pissed to find out the title was washed and the car sold as new
it was never told to the next buyer. When sold to 2nd buyer the title showed less miles than when I bought it.
Total crooked in my book.
I am not aware of a single vehicle ford has taken back that anything shows it was a lemon. 2nd time for me now. They just pawn them off on someone else.
Any and all repair history was cleaned or purged from system. It showed no warranty work of any kind.
They should have disclosed to me upon purchase that it was damaged prior to leaving plant. They were good at excuses and trying to get me not to talk.
I was told they would help me out on my next purchase.
That time has come and I was pretty much told yes we said that but screw you!

This may be shocking to some of you but have you ever noticed that EVERY car dealer in America has a Big garage door that they use to enter vehicles into the service department. If you ever have a chance to look into the service area you will notice there are more repair bays then oil change areas and tire changing machines. This leads me to believe ALL makes have vehicles that for one reason or another need repair and not just service.

Well its been 26 days without a truck, compensation or man we really are sorry. I am pretty disappointed. Mostly because the whole thing has kinda turned into a circus act. IMO, I have been majorly understanding, patient and flexible not even upset yet. Maybe that was my mistake though.
I dropped my truck off to get a variety of issues fixed 26 days ago. 22 biz days today. The major issues were some serious paint defects in the bed, on the roof and core body inside the doors. Door alignment on both sides, tailgate miss-alignment and loose interior panels. Effectively all the doors were going to have to come off most of it repainted and then back together. They were concerned how right they could get it.

Last week they were suppose to try and repaint it. There was no action plan laid out if they could not get it right. So, I call the Ford Customer Rep line. I opened a case and also asked about the DRP process required by X-Plan. After not hearing back from the Regional guy ( was suppose to call last Fri). I called the Ford Customer Rep line again today. The lady was very honest and let me know the case had been closed and she was not sure why. Apologized... and re-opened it.
To follow the right steps toward my states lemon law. I started the complaint process with the BBB today. In my state 30 days without your car and loss of value is what I am starting to look towards. This is not what I was hoping for but seems to be where things are headed.
Wondering if anyone has experience with the BBB DRP process? Is it just a joke or useful.

What you have is a Pure LEMON!
None of this will show in repair history and they never will disclose it to next buyer. Been there done that . . They screwed me over on a big $$ Shelby
Post pictures of it in body shop only thing they understand is if you let the world know when something goes wrong.
Have them give you a higher level trim for FREE straight across or simply get a refund of your $$ plus for your time.
The only other thing that will make them respond is the legal side of it.
No way in a million years I would take that truck back.
And yes I have over 40yrs paint and body experience, no matter what any one tells you it will never be the same.

Wow wading, just when I think things are good at Ford, BAM, this! I agree with those who said to try to NOT accept that F150. That's all I know - I stayed at my own house last night.
Makes my '02 seems better and better. The old boys who made mine back then did a pretty decent job. I reckon occasionally, they do some good work. Yesterday I drove a '15 GMC Sierra 4x4 - while driving sales boy told me GM had a bunch of problems with hoods being dented on new Yukons, etc. and had a hard time finding what caused it. Then (he said it was true!) they went to Mexican plants and saw some workers who were standing on the hoods while they worked on the roofs!! Am I the only one in the world left with an old fashioned work ethic? Naw, I know there are some left...
