Are We Looking At The Same Truck?
All I see on here is how the new ford looks like a dodge or toyota. I just don't see it. IMO this new design is unique, tough, and very Ford. The guys at Ford Motor Co. are innovators, not followers. Rant over.

Compared to the current model, it's freaking awesome. I can't put my finger on it, but I've been trying to force myself to like the current model since it came out in 2009...it just doesn't do anything for me.
You're right though, because it has headlights, a grille, tires, doors, and mirrors, it looks "just like" the tundra, dodge, chebbie, fiat..whatever other stupid *** comparisons I've heard on here...

Nope, half the damn truck looks like the 2014 Tundras. The overall shape and body lines are way too similar, in addition to similarly designed front ends. Can't wait till my dealership gets some 2015s so I can compare side by side in person. Personally, I think the 2015s are ugly as sin.
They're all "followers." All makes have resorted to an overly-boxy, flat-faced design that is too aggressive for a non-lifted truck. They all look bad to me. The F150's split bumper is ugly as hell, and even worse than GM's was.

I still like how my 2006 looks, I liked how my '95 looked better. Give it a few years, you'll look back on the 2015 when the next body style comes out and think "damn, that wasn't so bad after all" lol

I don't see any resemblance because there is none.

4 wheels, headlights in the front, grill in the middle, cab in front of bed.. the list goes on, there are lots of similarities.

I guess some of you guys don't think the Fusion is a blatant rip-off of the Aston Martins either . . . Looks damn good, and one of the few non-muscle cars I'd consider driving, but looks like an Aston. Might as well copy the best-looking thing out there.
94-97 supercrew super duties still look awesome IMO. And I also prefer my 06's looks over the 09+'s. I think the 04-08s will age better than the 97-03 and 09-14, but we'll see.
I want to steal both of your quotes, @harrison14allen!

Looks??
You guys all seem obsessed with how it looks. I don't care how it looks, except for the fact they are bigger than they have to be which leads to very poor visibility and blind spots.
What I don't like is the almost inability to reach the oil dipstick and the fact that I don't even have a d-stick for the transmission fluid. What! Am I supposed to pay the dealership, or some other mechanic just to check my tranny fluid, and there is no reason I should have to crawl under the truck just to check it.
They are just making it harder for those of us who work on our own vehicles. I put 250,000 miles on my 2001 in 11yrs, and to tell you the truth, I don't think my 2012 will make it anywhere near that.
