Normal, mine does it. You'll notice it more during hotter months.

Default Very loud fan noise

Mine is really loud like that too. I have a 2013 Taurus sho and it's the same way also. Especially when it's running in the garage. My car and truck both have the ecoboost 3.5.

"Hotter months" my country broke the record this year in june for being the hottest country on earth lol
Now it's usually around 46-51 degrees
But anyway thanks for reassuring me that the fan noise is normal!

I have the 5.0 engine and live in Phoenix - mine is running all the time.

Do all Engines (2.7, 3.5, ...) have the same cooling system with the same fan noise, etc?

3.5 Eco and when the fan kicks on its really loud. Reminds me of the older Chevy models. My 2010 with the 5.4 was pretty quiet even during the 100 degree summers in Texas.

Normal,
I've actually had to shut my truck off in a drive thru before because they couldn't hear over the fan noise very well and I couldn't hear them either. It has also been 100-106 here too, I notice in the morning and late evening when it's cooler out (80's), I don't hear it as much. But when it's 100 out, it will run anytime I'm not moving fast, loud enough that the people in their convertibles look at my like I'm about to blast off!
