Truck campers
Does anyone have one they use with their '15? I'm thinking about getting one. Living lite makes one that is 1200 lbs that will fit in a 5.5 bed. My payload is 1500 lbs.. Good idea or bad? Anything I can do to help increase payload.. ie airbags etc.?

The manual says its "not recommended" but then tells you how to load and secure it.

Here is my 2004 Northstar TC800 on my "97" F150.
I have only had it on the "15" once but didn't get any pics.
The payload rating on the door is a little over 2000 lbs on my truck.
I've installed torklift tiedowns and the torklift stable loads, the truck handles it fine.
I'm planning another trip in a couple weeks so I'll be able to get some pics showing it loaded.

It handled the weight fine but there's still a little sway and body roll I need to address.
I'm leaning towards the Roadmaster RAS. (pun intended)
I have air bags on the 97 that I could use the dual gauge inflation kit from but I don't want to mount the controller in the new truck.
