This is the kit I bought:

Amazon.com: 55w Kensun HID Xenon Conversion Kit "All Bulb Sizes and Colors" with Digital Ballasts - H11 - 6000k: Automotive Amazon.com: 55w Kensun HID Xenon Conversion Kit "All Bulb Sizes and Colors" with Digital Ballasts - H11 - 6000k: Automotive

And you'll also need:

Amazon.com: Kensun HID Conversion Kit Universal Single Beam Relay Wiring Harness - H1 H3 H7 H8 H9 H10 H11 9005 9006 5202 880 881 9140 9145: Automotive Amazon.com: Kensun HID Conversion Kit Universal Single Beam Relay Wiring Harness - H1 H3 H7 H8 H9 H10 H11 9005 9006 5202 880 881 9140 9145: Automotive

I chose to get the Kensun kit because it was very highly reviewed; with HID kit prices being all over the board, I wanted to make sure I bought one that had good feedback. This is the first kit I've bought from them and I have to say I really like the kit. The relay harness you could save a few bucks on if you made your own, but it really is worth the money because it has all the connectors that match up to the HID kit so it is literally plug and play (minus the battery connection, that requires a socket or wrench).

Also, if installing on a 2015, you'll want to make sure the red wire of the harness matches up with the blue wire from the truck. The plugs could connect either way, so make sure you do it right!

Aside from that, the auto headlight function can be an issue in some vehicles as well.
As long as you install the kit using a relay, anytime the headlights get voltage, the relay will kick in and provide the higher current needed to run the HIDs. Technically you don't have to disable the DRLs because even though they are a lower voltage, the relay will force the HIDs to run at the proper voltage and current - so you can run the HIDs as DRLs and it won't hurt them at all.

True, I just don't know whether I'd want the HIDs on all the time like that. I'm sure it wouldn't hurt them, but still.

I bought the HID kit and found this later while I was looking for a DIY tutorial. I didn't get the relay. When I go to Amazon it says "this will not fit your 2015 F150" (relay) but I think it might be confused because the truck wouldn't normally need this if there wasn't an HID kit along with it. Did you need the Warning Cancellation Harness as well? It shows people buy all three together but if I don't need it I'd rather save the dough. It also looks like I may have to take out the airbox and the battery to get to the lights. Is this what you had to do? Thanks in advance!

35w is sort of the normal you would see in a OEM car. 55w obviously is brighter but it runs the bulbs harder so they don't last nearly as long. So it depends how often you want to be replacing bulbs/ how bright you feel like you need to go.

I'm getting some morimoto from the retrofit source done this week. Assuming things work well I'll post pics and link info.

The low beam voltage isn't clean on 15s. Try a capacitor between the low beam supply and the HID kit trigger wire. (Along with a proper relay harness connected directly to 12v)
