I ordered a mostly loaded '17 Lariat SCREW that I got a pretty decent deal on (or so I think) on 1-5-17. I don't have a vin (dealer didn't provide me with one), but I'm excited to get it. Haven't custom ordered a truck in my life...wanted to say thank you to this forum as you guys are incredibly helpful.

I have repeatedly checked in cotus and it says my platinum has been "in production" for 8 days now. My dealer ordered two of the same trucks (except with different colored interiors) and theirs was in production for only a day. Something does not seem right. any help insights out there?

The day after Christmas (my present to myself) I ordered a loaded '17 Limited. I knew they were shut down for the holidays so was not anticipating any speedy response. Around 2 or 3 Jan I got the VIN, production week (30 Jan-3 Feb) and anticipated delivery date (22 Feb). I have hit-or-miss luck getting info off of (the at least 5 versions of) COTUS. When it works, it's updated with the Days Remaining part. Everything else stays the same. I opted to not get the Ford spray in bedliner after seeing several YouTube videos of how poorly they perform and the fact that the warranty is only 3/36k. For the same price, I'm getting Line-X the day after I pick it up (lifetime warranty).

I'm such a nerd that I built a spreadsheet with all the dates and conditional formatting so when I open it up each day it gives me a color coded countdown to build, transit, and delivery.

For the record, here are all the COTUS links I've tried (only the first one ever works, and not always). Sometimes the page never loads and gives some useless error message, sometimes it loads and doesn't have any info for my truck.

Just placed an order a week ago for a 502A Supercab 4X4 Sport 5.0, 3.31 Locker, 36 Gal Tank, Tech Package, in Magnetic. I have an order number, but nothing on the Ford tracking website quite yet. Hopefully in a couple days.

after about 2.5 months, due to the holiday and shut down, i am finally picking up my 2017 Lariat Sport in Lighting Blue. Just about fully loaded and for under invoice. Tomorrow will be a good day as this will be my first new car.
