How long does one show IN PRODUCTION after it is built. For instance, my sticker shows a build date of 7/23. However, its the 26th & still shows IN PRODUCTION. COTUS delivery date still shows 8/3.

It varies! Not the answer you were looking for I am sure. Mine did the same thing. Delivery date shifted back and forth. It all worked out in the end and I picked my Lariat up on the 61st trip around the sun! Made it a great day! It was worth the wait. I am extremely happy with my truck. All the time I agonized over the options and accessories turned out to be time well spent as I would order it again the same way. I'd be willing to bet you will feel the same way.... Soon!

Not my first rodeo. I just thought it was odd that it was setting in production 4 days past the build date, with less than a week to go on the delivery date.

By the way, it came out of production today, & the estimated delivery date is still 8/3. Once I received my window sticker, there have been no date changes.

Do you know what your BLEND number is? I had a build date of 25/7/16, but it was like 5423 in line. I just assume it will take a couple, maybe 3 days to get built.

Truck just moved to awaiting shipment this morning, took about 3 days to build (BLEND 220160725 5423). Truck is moving from Kansas to Houston. What is fair estimated time for the truck to arrive? Delivery date is scheduled for the 15/8.

In transit. Changed delivery date to 7/30. 1 day remaining. Only one problem. Promised the wife I would take her to Atlanta to see new Grandson. Sounds like truck will have to wait a couple days

I checked COTUS daily during the order period May30-Aug12, 2016.


The window sticker never appeared in COTUS but I did find it here about 3 days after getting the VIN from my dealer:

"In Production," "Awaiting Shipment" and "In Transit" dates all updated according to expectations, and even included a 2-3 day delay to get the spray-on bedliner applied.

I was patiently counting the days to the estimated delivery date of 8/12, when my dealer called in the mid-morning of 8/4 to let me know that my 2016 Lariat had ARRIVED 8 DAYS EARLY!


We concluded that a big shipment of 20-some F-150's from Kansas City to a local Enterprise rental hub accounted for the quick delivery!

Lovin' the truck. The 3.73 rear end kicks butt!

Mines been in production for 8 days now on cotus. They also added a spray liner that I told them I didn't want. Hoping it gets delivered on time.
