I've watched these trucks being built at DTP, and I'm not talking about taking a public tour. We supply every HVAC for 85% of Ford vehicles built for the North American market, including the F150.

which is it?

Read your post? I did. I was specifically addressing what you wrote, as your post was ambiguous and unclear.

That's exactly why I was explaining (to future readers) that it only takes ~18 hour to ACTUALLY produce a truck.

Default It's All Good!

Well, in the wake of the plants both reopening, I have a feeling many of us will start seeing these trucks roll out a bit quicker. Mine is to be built on Thursday, 7/9, with an ETA of 8/2. I am sure things will change several times over the course of the next 30 days, but lets keep our heads about us boys! Time will tell and it will only be a few short weeks now before we will all be happy! Keep the faith and Happy 4th!

Happily joining the ranks of the impatient.....cotus let me in this morning with my dealer and order numbers. I've got my VIN and est. delivery date of 8/11! Patiently waiting (well, sort of) on my new truck.
F-150 Lariat Screw FX4 Sport 5.0L, 3.55 e-loc, 51/2' bed in Ruby Red. 501a, navi, trailer tow, tailgate step and extended range fuel tank. Is it here yet? Is it here yet?

I'm hoping to see it change to "In production" early next week. Been in processing for a couple of weeks now and ETA is August 5th, so I imagine it should be hitting the assembly line pretty quick.

I will try to display mine here.

Sorry guys you are going through what I went through. It is very frustrating.

You would think every salesman would have access to it. But getting mine was like pulling teeth. I got some general copy sent to me that had more or less info that Cotus provides. After he swore that he couldn't get a detailed VR, I consulted the sales manager. He too was perplexed about what I was asking for. It wasn't until I implored him to inquire the inventory manger that I finally got the detailed visibility report. He was surprised and told me, "lesson learned."

Perhaps other dealerships know already that they have to get the VR from the inventory manager. My salesman only had access (on his computer) to that general copy. Or perhaps this dealership runs on an antiquated system.

I only mentioned this because there were others who struggled getting a visibility report from their dealership.

Hopefully a bunch of our trucks get built this week and the builders are all nice and fresh from their week off.

We must be on the same page. I got the same progress, with an ETA of 8/2/15. Hopefully we will both get built this week! Best of luck!!!!
