Oser stated a few days ago that 20,000 would be held before shipment to make sure there are no problems. With 14,000 # vins being built in early December, I doubt now that they will hold 20,000 before shipping (at least I hope not) as we wouldn't see any trucks til Christmas.

I'm hoping they will only hold the 1st 5-10,000 being built so the early builds will be at the dealers before Thanksgiving. I can't believe they have enough room to store 20,000 trucks, plus Ford will want the money from the dealers on the ones that are built and sitting in lots.

I (we) appreciate Oser's inputs as he is their on a daily basis. Keep the updates coming.

Here's the transcript from the earnings call if anyone is interested. Nothing really new on the launch, the questions from the analysts down at the bottom are decent....kind of a long read. They re-affirmed that MPG will be out latter of Nov.

My order acceptance date was Oct 21. I have no idea on the priority code. I ordered it in Ramstein Germany... Cheers

Ran some numbers...........

VIN 13513 built on the 24th of November compared to my 10533 built on the 17th would be mean ~3000 +/- trucks in 7 days.......

~3000 +/- per day /7 days= 428.5/day
428.5/day /24 hours= 17.85/hour

This tells me that they have the line WAYYYYYY slower than normal and are taking more time per rig.

Hopefully that means they are making sure the rigs go out good to go!

I would say it is safe to assume that dontech, and oldflick's trucks are built today. misterwlm probably Wednesday or Thursday by my calculations on my previous post.

Woohoo!

I did get a PM from the Ford rep on here and she said that it was "in production" last week.

Well we now know that they are at least over 1000 in the VIN's.

We also know that some of the early production models GOT HAILED ON!!!

WTF?
