My '11 truck had them and i wasn't sure how i'd like them at first, but when i ordered my '16 i told the sales person it was a must! The bottom mirror is exceptional at eliminating blind spots. and i rarely tow anything.

Love mine. My passenger side shacks a bit while driving. Need to have it looked at. Otherwise, wonderful option and great visibility.

I have them and wouldn't have gone any other way. I laugh when I see other trucks like mine without them. I always think to myself " take a good look, this is what your truck COULD have looked like".

Cool Ford Towing Mirrors

The best Towing Mirror I've found are the slip on type. Easy to install and take off and increases your field of vision from about 20deg to 48deg.

See some common types on my blog forheavensafe blogpost

I was glad mine were powered today. Sitting at a light to turn left in Chicago when a truck on the left made a right turn. The cab missed me but the trailer would've took out my drivers mirror if I hadn't folded it in quickly!

Just had a feeling it was gonna be close and it was. Otherwise love the mirrors. Downtown Chicago, not so much.

The truck I ended up purchasing did not have them and could not work out a swap so I guess I'll see how it goes and if I pop $1300-$1400 for a set of factory tow mirrors or just go the clamp on route. The standard ones felt awful wide riding into the garage the first time this evening :-/

I think they look a little silly at first glance but I LOVE them for visibility. There is nothing like tow mirrors on a pickup for ease of driving.*

*The opinion of an F-150 salesman, not an F-150 owner.

I bought my "almost" perfect KingRanch last month. It didn't have the tow mirrors, and EVERY truck I found remotely close had the standard mirrors. I'm frosted with the poor visibility of the standard mirrors, and wish I'd have ordered, but I didn't think the mirrors would be a big deal. They are not worth $1550 after the fact, but after driving Super Duties for 17 years, I'll NEVER get these sissy flap mirrors again. Ugh!

Been looking for a trade or someone whos getting rid of theirs.

I miss the hell out of my tow mirrors from my last couple of F350s.

Huh. I was going to offer to kick them in the nutz but cash would probably work better. Biggest disappointment with my truck is what a PITA Ford made upgrading to tow mirrors. I loved them on my old truck and I was in a hurry to get my new one and mistakenly assumed I could easily pick some up and bolt them on. The **** clip ons are no substitute either - they are tiny and don't really help all that much.

I ordered my 2016 Lariat with the tow mirrors. I absolutely love them!!!!! They are incredible for towing my 8.5' wide boat and my new camper. The convex mirrors at the bottom of the mirror are so worth the extra money alone for any towing or city driving. Plus, with the Lariat or higher packages, when parking in a parking lot, hit two buttons and they fold right in to prevent any idiot from taking out your mirrors. I also think the truck looks way better and unique with them. Ford did a great job with the new mirrors compared to other models and manufactures with the big, silly looking rectangle mirrors. Last point, you may not have anything to tow now to require them but you may buy a toy in the future to tow where those mirrors will be a blessing, trust me!!!
