Well I did my truck today it was rather easy pin 1-8 corresponded with 1-8 on the 22 pin harness. I for some reason cannot get the wiring diagram to post if you send me a pm with your email I will be glad to send it to you. Or if one of you guys want to try and upload the pdf I will gladly send it to you to post!

I have to apologize to every one in saying that its just plug and play my mistake in believing my friend at the ford dealer. I just got my new mirrors today and my truck has the 8 pin harness and I need the 22 pin harness. I am ordering the 22 pin harness tomorrow and swapping the harness in the doors instead of cutting up the mirrors harness.

Good luck I ordered the harnesses yesterday and the driver side is on backorder. Im finding out you will also need the door control unit modules but they are cheap at $30 each.

I'm trying to do the same swap. The links for the part numbers don't take me to the right page. Would really appreciate a repost of the numbers. Thanks

Check out the post "Retrofit Power Fold Tow Mirrors to XLT" by -pascal. (With the dash)

Default Mirrors

Thanks for the link forest48. They're doing a more involved swap than I'm interested in. I basically need to plug my 8 pin truck into the 22 pin mirror. Just heat and power glass. Trying to find the plugs to make a jumper. Instead of cutting up the wires on my truck.

I wanted to make a jumper harness also but you aren't going to get the male end and the only way to get your 22 pin is to buy a new door harness and cut it up. If you need the info I did the swap identical to what you are wanting

Kalen427 Did you find out how to wire up the running lights? I used your wiring color codes. The turn signals and power adjust work correctly. Not sure about heat. The two wire colors for the driver side heat don't match up. The first two browns. Black and black white do though. Thanks for the info.
