How long and what did you use to do this? VHT night shade I assume? Do you have the BLIS, does tinting the taillights affect this? thanks, looks really btw. I have a 2015 tuxedo black king ranch figuring this would go really well for me. thanks

From my best guess, that is professional, not VHT. I have managed to get one set of tails to look that good, by using Rustoleum lens tint and a couple times of wet sanding, then Meguiars Ultimate compound and repeat about 4 times.

Thanks for the compliments ! They are OEM Ford non bliss lights found on King Ranch and 17 Raptor. You can get the lights and pig tails from Tousley Ford.

The tint was done at a local body shop using clear mixed with base coat in layers with wet sanding and polishing between coats. Highly recommended

I dunno... I think F150 LED tail running lights are the dimmest of any tail light on the road (the brake lights are OK). I am shocked that the design got past regulatory agencies. "Style" just isn't worth making them even dimmer, IMHO. Especially given the origins of that styling.

I see what you mean if your looking straight at the truck from rear. . They should of come down by edge of tail gate or something similar to the new GMs.. surprised the didn't have to have more lights visable.... I am happy with the brightness through the tint, even in daylight though. ..
