Time for a new truck, but can't decide which wheels.
Right now I have a 2013 supercrew 4x4 5.0 3.55 truck with 17" Raptor wheels and 285/70/17 10ply tires that only have about 8k miles on them. I am looking at a new 2015 supercrew 4x4 2.7 3.55 truck that has the 18" chrome looking wheels on it. I think I may keep my Raptor wheels and tires and put on the new truck but I am wondering how much of a mpg hit that 2.7 would take with it if much at all.

I'm not an expert but honestly I would say you wouldn't be taking a huge hit. The stock tires on 20" rims are 275/55/20, so 31.9". I believe the stock tires on the 18" wheel are 275/65/18 at 32.1". You're only gaining 1/2" in tire size due to the Raptor tire being about 32.7.
I put a LT 34" (275/65/20) tire on my truck with 20" wheels and didn't see a big drop in highway MPGs once my speedo was corrected. It was 10% off prior to correction, thus impacting MPGs. Your tires will only be about 2% off so not a big change on the speedo. I went from 25MPGs on a mostly controlled 40 mile route to 23MPGs with the new tires and no front air dam. In the last 400 miles since the tires were put on my lifetime MPG dropped from 20.6 to 20.5. I have 1700 miles and put the tires on at about 1250.
In summary, you will most likely take a MPG hit, but it will be negligible. You also won't have any noticeable power loss.

Well I pulled the trigger today on a new truck. I went with a little more expensive truck so I opted to keep the sport 20's. I am super impressed with this 2.7 so far. I am going to run it 5k miles and then change the oil and put a 5star tune on it. I took my tune off my 5.0 truck today when I traded it in and couldn't believe how weak it felt.

Beautiful truck. I'm sure you'll enjoy it!
On a side note: I'd like to punch, in the dick, the dealers that put their advertising bullsh** right above the F150 emblem. Monkeys. The lot of em'.

I agree 100%. I am going to get the windows tinted this week and see if they can take them off for me while they are doing it.
How do you like your 5* tunes on the 2.7
