How do I find the decoder for spring rates? just got a new truck and spring code is SSBB.
I'd like to rigure out what the spring rates are front and rear.
F150 XLT SCREW 145" Max Tow (20" tires). GAWR: 3450 Front axle, 4050 rear.
Curious too as I’ve looked for a chart online myself but never found one for the 2018’s. I have UUBB spring on my 157” max tow. fronts show 3650 and same 4050 for the rear
The S springs are 473 lbs per inch and the U springs are 553 lbs. The B rear springs are 440. There are 4 different rear spring packs for the rear depending on the gawr.
The eSourcebook lists the following for 2017, but doesn't indicate which corresponds to which part number. The letters next to the rating at ground on the front coil springs are a best-guess based on looking at the parts listings and available part numbers, but I've not been able to confirm with Ford (and they don't correspond with the spring ratings on the door sticker).
