Hello all,

I am new to the F-150 after having three GM's. Traded my 2015 GMC Sierra 4x4 in on my 2016 Lariat FX4 with the Sport package.

I love this truck. It's got the GM trucks beat by a long shot.

I have the Tuxedo Black exterior with the black leather interior. I like the all black look and want to paint or plast-dip my front and rear oval Ford Emblems to flow with the rest of the black on the truck.

I noticed the center caps on the gunmetal 20" sport rims have the blue ford logo on the center caps.

Has anyone removed and painted these? I'd like to keep the silver trim in the logo and paint the rest black. Has this been done? If so, can you post pics and your process?

I have attached a pic of my truck with the rims that I'm asking about.

Can't find the link right now but I know a few guys were putting overlay decals on those small emblems. I know the make black with silver too. Many color combos actually. Search eBay.

MagNitto, I looked on eBay and can't seem to find any specifically for the F-150. Anyone know the size?

Also anyone know about removal?

I got both these overlays on eBay.

Any idea if these are 2.5 or 3" wide caps ?

Also any way to remove these caps without taking the entire wheel off ?

For min I didn't have t take the wheel or cap off. Just got of the floor and put em on. Pretty simple. I can't remember the exact size but I want to say 2.5.
