Default Speedo gone wonky...

Driving home after one stop, I noticed this...I was going 22...would pulling the negative battery cable fix it? Or worth taking it in since it's only like 2 months old just to double check everything?

Getting it in because I work 9-6 everyday will be a pain

With today's programming and the tools the techs at the dealers can use to review issues I would just stop in have them take a look.

I wonder if your odometer mileage is racking up fast with the error?

If it keeps happening put the digital speedo on the display and see if it correlates. Might help narrow down the cause of the problem.

Digital speedo is fine, so I'm hoping mileage is too, but didn't drive that far after it happened.

Think pulling negative battery cable would help? Or mechanical so it wouldn't?

If the digital speedo is OK I would guess the problem is the gauge motor or micro-controller doing the positioning. Mileage is probably not affected. Dealer will probably swap the cluster assembly.

Ha! I really wish they would use those magical tools you speak of to fix my multiple issues.

Well, after all the issues I have had, the dealership is splitting the cost of a line x with me. 250 to Spray in a Bedliner on my Screw F150 seems too good to say no to
