Question Small aluminum pieces in driveway

Has anyone seen these small aluminum pieces in their driveway? For reference, the piece in the photos is about 1/4" long.

I assume it's just a piece of excess metal left over from the moulding process, but I wonder whether I should be concerned. I've found several over the past 3 months but I haven't noticed any performance issues.

I'm driving a 2106 F150 S-CAB.

Thanks!

You said you found several, I thought there was only one per wiper. That would be two. Just wondering. Mine were actually next to the wiper arms.

Glad they aren't from something major. I would love to see a pic of a 2106 F150 S-Cab though, can you post one for us?

Well even though this topic has been discussed before, I'm glad it was posted again.

I had found one of the pieces and have had it on my workbench for a couple of weeks. I threw it in the trash can a few days ago then emptied the can into a trash bag with a bunch of dog poo bags, sawdust, and other stuff, but I eventually found it. I checked the other wiper and the other piece had fallen out too, but it was laying in the trough under the wiper. I just got finished gluing them in place with JBWeld. Another two days and the trash along with one of the piece would have been gone. My truck remains complete, Ha Ha! Thanks, Georgia Terrapin.

I found them several weeks apart, so my recollection probably is not good. I'm sure there were only two.
