They claim to have test the antenna but they also admitted that they didn't road test it or they would have known it did not work.

My guess is we are going to have to wait for the 2017 antenna's or maybe even 2018. Ford obviously knows about this issue and I doubt they are going to put defective antenna's continuously on vehicles. If the new ones work on 2017 then I will switch over.

In the meantime, the satellite radio is really unusable. It cuts in and out every few minutes, some times for 20 or 30 seconds.

A fix, posting for those who might be subbed to this thread.

2016 F150 Sirius Satellite Radio - Audio Cuts Out/No Signal ***SSM 46016***
SSM 46016 - Effective Aug 19 2016

2016-2017 Expedition And Navigator Built On Or Before 08/12/2016 And 2016 F150 Built On Or Before 08/09/2016 - Sirius Satellite Radio - Audio Cuts Out/No Signal

Some 2016-2017 Expedition and Navigator vehicles built on or before 08/12/2016 and 2016 F150 vehicles built on or before 08/09/2016 equipped with Sirius satellite radio may exhibit an intermittent concern where the audio cuts out and the radio displays a No Signal message while driving in open sky conditions in certain locations in your area. This may be due to interference with cellular phone tower signals. If a vehicle displays this condition near cellular phone towers, replace the audio unit antenna with part number GL1Z-10E893-AC on Expedition/Navigator and HL3Z-10E893-AA for F150.

I've already sent the above to my dealer. Let's hope this is the real fix. Will post with results.......

Traded my 13 Lariat for a 16 KR and the cut outs are driving me crazy. thanks for a posted fix and will contact my dealer to see when I can get it in. strangely, mine works in our parking garage, but a tree in a Whataburger drive-thru kills it.

I am having the new antenna installed this Friday morning. I am extremely excited, this is the only issue that has been driving me crazy with the truck.
