I'm wanting to have a custom exhaust done for my truck, and this is the style I like. Does anyone have any experience with it? I'm trying to decide if it's right, and noise factor is the big "what if." I don't want it too terribly loud since it's my DD.

I remember working in the trade when the 1997 F150 came out. You could get that exhaust (exit in front of the R/R wheel) from the factory (single outlet though). I also remember replacing many exhausts, wheels and centre cap because the exhaust would corrode the wheels. I hated that TSB. Maybe technology has changed in the almost twenty years but Ford still seems to dump the exhaust behind the wheel.

Best sound I've heard come out of the V6 Turbo. I have to admit I'm rather partial to the look as well.

I had a custom setup like this on my 06 with chrome wheels and never had a problem with the exhaust messing up the wheel.

The Magnaflow 19054 is probably in my future. I just got to hear it in person first.
