Where do I go to read about the Livernois powertrain warranty? Here is all the info about ours,

I would like see someone with a 5 star tune with and without the warranty dyno there trucks. Curious if the tunes are exactly the same.

We do not have any experience with warranty voidance. We do always advocate being honest if asked about any modifications. In over a decade of tuning we have not had a single client failure. Who else here has as much experience as we do, has a spotless record AND is an OE R&D partner?

Why do a roll call when the search function works just fine?

Shall we continue, because there's more?

Yes please do continue.
I've had both tuners and from day one have always like the livernois better. Stage 3 does offer the warranty which is what prompted me to buy from them. I can say 100% that 5star/stage3 seriously lack the power made by livernois.

So no one has ever had any engine issues caused by a Livernois tune? You have a better track record than Ford themselves.

Sorry I have to weigh in here. I have a 2.7 Eco with the 5 star tunes. Out of the 3 I have 87 pt, 93pt, and 93 perf only the only one I was impressed with was the 93 perf only. And even sometimes it falls flat in the power band. I bought it for the warrenty, now I don't even use it because the tunes keep throwing an engine light but the second I flash to stock it clears it and doesn't store the code . Therefore making it very difficult to take it to the dealer for replacement of the part causing the issue. That being said its been about 1500 miles since I have taken the time off and I am check engine light free, but after I throw a run back on in about 300-400 miles code p2450 will show back up. When I contacted 5star they said and I quote " just take it to the dealer and tell them about the code , it's a known issue " just letting y'all know the dealer doesn't take my word for it...... They have to pull the code themselves in order to fix it. So here I am spent 1000 on a tune and warranty and it sits on my desk collecting dust. Why would the tune throw the engine code but not throw it with the stock tune ?

Roostertails12,

Send me an email with your device serial number and a list of your mods. Once I have your information we will log each of your tunes and will make revisions for you. Once revised you will see the tune pull throughout the powerband and we can correct your p code for you.

Email is chris@5startuning.com
