Unless my truck has "Lightning" badges on the side, 0-60 doesn't mean anything when you are hauling firewood 1/4 mile on muddy trails.

1/2 second is a lot. And with a tune, the disparity grow far greater. Like comparing a civic engine to a diesel. One screams to make power, one drools it out of the gate. But them ricer boys love revving them civics, so it's whatever floats your boat.

The eco only weighs 50 lbs more, the 400 lb difference has to do with the options on the two vehicles. Pickuptrucks.com tested an XLT, Car and Driver tested an "every bell and whistle" platinum. All those toys add weight.

I bet you drive your truck on the street with no firewood in the back the majority of the time. Just Sayin'.

And whats your point?
My point is I bought a truck to do things that, well trucks do. If I wanted to go fast I would of bought a fast car.
When I pull up to a stop light in my F150 I sure as Hell aint trying to act like a bad *** in a vehicle that was made to haul and pull.
Just Sayin.

Maybe you should start a thread about how well your truck hauls firewood so you would not be so off topic in this thread.

And you sir are also totally off topic for this thread.

The OP was talking about the disparity of the 0-60 ET for a 400 lighter 2015 5.0L and a 2015 3.5 Eco.

Start your own thread to tell Ford how they got it all wrong with 2 generations of Lightnings and the Tremor to voice your outrage. Don't forget to mention Roush Racing while you are at it.
