Not fake from what I've read. Helps cool the engine but to what degree not sure.

Thumbs up RK Sport Hood

I have an RK Sport hood on my 2015 XLT.. The Hood needs a lot of shaping. I had them do what they can without paying 1k to completely reshape the hood. It doesn't line up perfect and the gap is a little larger then stock but even with those issues I still love it.. It is functional. Hope this helped you guys who are wondering.

Any problem with bugs and dirt in the engine with that scoop?

Well I am on construction sites alot so I would say that more dust gets in.
Nothing out of control though. I only have 5k miles on the truck but here is what it looks like.

Doesn't seem too bad. I do a lot of highway driving. I'm curious how it would turn out. Big and dirt is my concern. But still really thinking about pulling the trigger on it. Looks great on your truck.

Thanks...the hood does weigh problably 3 times what the stock hood weighs but if you're not racing it shouldn't be a concern.

i wouldn't say my engine is very dirty- and mine lines up very well I've found. seems strong too ( walked out on a meter maid literally on my hood trying to put a ticket under my wiper)

the hood scoop is functional - it directs air to an opening right above the intake box

Wow thats clean. I like how that looks. I noticed that both of you have the fender flare too. I originally wanted some but since I'm not going any higher than my 3 inch lift and no bigger than my 33's. I thought the flares would make the wheel well look that much more empty. I'm saying all that cause the flares compliment the hood that you guys have and so I'm hoping it won't look off some without the fender flares.

This is my truck it's going on.
