I have the same truck color and features, and am getting the -JAA console. At worst I can switch out the other electronics if it doesn't work for something, like the dimming mirror or something.

Can't switch out the electronics. The panels/makeup on the inside of the console are different. Looked at that when I was replacing mine.

Really... I thought I saw that someone switched out something since a feature stopped working (not the security since that is visibly routed differently).

i believe it was fifel and the part was the sync Mic

That sounds right. And yes, you can switch out the sync mic, and maybe even the front light buttons, but the upfitter switches won't swap over.

Sooo is the sync mic not part of this panel??? Or it is and he was just doing something different?

It is part of it. His new one was acting up, so he swapped his old one into the new console.

Thanks to all who've contributed info to this thread, and especially feifel and jerehawn who have both gone out of their way to help me identify the right parts that I needed to do this mod.

If anyone is looking for the factory harness that connects to the upfitter switches​(HC3Z-15A404-B), as of this afternoon, "Dwayne Lanes North Cascade Ford" in WA is one of the last dealers in the country that actually have this part in stock ($18.22 + shipping). It seems to be on backorder everywhere else.

For those of you that have completed this mod, what fuse are you using between the battery and the relay box? It looks like 200A will be sufficient but there are a lot of options out there. What have you used?
